A Legacy of Organic Excellence
Established by Pharron Nelson and Josée-Anne Rouleau, Nelson-Rouleau Tree Fruits (NRTF) is a second-generation family-owned orchard. The land was farmed organically by Pharron's parents, Fred and Phyllis Nelson, for many years before organic standards were developed. The orchard is rooted in the Organic Capital of Canada, Cawston, BC. The Similkameen Valley is an ideal micro-climate for farming, its semi-desertic climate stands out from the lush landscapes between the Kootenay and Vancouver regions.
Our journey began with a shared passion for organic farming. By cultivating a rich and healthy soil, avoiding unnecessary chemicals, and pruning our trees effectively we produce large and fresh fruits that exceed Canadian standards. From humble beginnings, our dedication to nature and tradition has propelled us forward, shaping NRTF into a trusted name synonymous with quality, sustainability, and exceptional taste.
